Because, it proves that the points I was making in those various threads were not simply valid opinions, but that I had called it right!
The fact that it wound you and the other idiots up is neither here nor there. As I have said on many occasions, "being wound up" is not a valid excuse for banning anyone. Using invective and making persistent verbal attacks on another poster are valid reasons for banning, but you could never agree to that, because that would mean that you'd be forced to ban practically every partisan poster on your board.
But such a post would go totally against what is actually happening in the EPL, and would clearly be nothing more than a pathetic attempt to provoke Spurs fans.
And, despite that fact, you'd still not be banned from this forum, because we and our mods are made of far sterner stuff than that.
Utter bollocks! I still have the PMs in my in-tray, and know exactly when you were being pally-pally with me, pal. In fact, you were writing to me with your support for the very reason that you believed (as you expressed to me in your PMs) that certain idiots on your board were unjustly calling me a wum.
No. The bottom line is that there was and remains absolutely no justification for my having been banned from your board, as you know only too well, and you lack the backbone to reverse the decision because you know it would be unpopular with the tiny number of fans that you actually moderate now.
You can justify this to yourself however much you like, but please do not give me all this bollocks
What's done is done. I said it before to Skid Marks, that my being banned from your board would do your board more damage to your board than to my feelings. I only ever posted there because I felt sorry for the many, many times that it was deserted, or otherwise lacking any dynamic content. All that will happen is you'll go back to how it was and you'll be moderating a graveyard. Mean time, I'm content to divert the entirety of my efforts in helping to keep the Spurs board one of them most dynamic and vibrant on the forum.
