im not gonna harp on about stoke, done many times, but at the end they brought on danny collins, i used to really rate this player and to see him slip down the order is sad, he's better than stoke and think we made a mistake selling. anyone agree?
At the time i thought it was a bad move, seeing how he can't get a game at Stok, and certainly wouldn't be near our first11 now, i think in hindsight it was a decent sale, and a decent profit was made. Miss the Danny Collins song, one of my fave's ever, trying to shoe-horn Nedum Onouha into it just ain't the same!
I will not be watching Bolton against Stoke as they are 2 of the worst footballing sides in the Prem. It will be rubbish
Stoke are a poor team who play terrible football so where does that leave us? Stoke semi final of FA cup and a chance of Europa football playing hoof ball, Sunderland knocked out by a League 1 side in the third round doesn't say much for us does it.
Good luck to them. You have to be in it to win it and we haven't been giving the FA Cup a proper shot so let's not get bitter and twisted about another outfits' style of play who just might pull it off.
Thing is Pont, what's a proper shot? The team that Bruce put out should have been more than strong enough to beat a Third Division team - the players just did not perform.
