It's still possible for us to finish 6th, along with 4 or 5 other teams, so either Man City or Man Utd winning the F A Cup would free up a European place for any team finishing 6th. If nothing else it keeps our season alive. Or am I mistaken? would the beaten finalists qualify instead? If that's the case it would have to be an all Manchester final, assuming Man City finish in the top 4

As far as Europe goes, the Liverpool game has now become a six pointer!

Its a must win game, but Everton, Bolton, the unwashed, even Stoke will all think they're in with a shout so it's all exciting stuff and good for the game

Just been looking at the remaining fixtures and for me i don't see why we shouldn't win ALL of our home games with the possibility of picking up some points on our travels as well.

IF, we can do this then it will leave us very close to a Euro slot. Saying that, I'd still be over the moon with a top 8 or maybe top 7 finish.

What happened last year? Don't think Portsmouth got into Europe, so as long as one of the Manchester's win it, it will go to 7th.

Portsmouth weren't allowed to compete in Europe through being in administration even if they'd won it, but it's still unclear (to me) if they would have been allowed by being beaten finallists if their situation was differrent

The beaten finalists take the place assuming they don't qualify via another means.

Remember the year Millwall beat us in the semis, they played in Europe the following year as Man United beat them in the final, and were obviously in the champions league.

An all Manchester final is the only hope for an extra spot now.
