Of course it's hard work Luke, you spend all your time on the Spurs board, a team you do not support. We would all love to know why. Did you plan this or did it just creep up on you?
The chances of that being answered truthfully are about the same as getting an answer as to whether there is any other life in the universe
Probably for a similar reason to Alnwick being named in the last squad. They just happened to be there! Almost certain not to play, but there's no downside to naming him in there, as far as I can see.
Oh well, gaf's increasingly hilarious tantrums means the Spurs/Loserpool match thread is now blocked by my work server. Think we touched a nerve?
Just wanted to say how impressed I was with your earlier post, well written and informative, it was a pleasure to read.
I bumped into a cross-eyed bloke the other day "You should look where you're going" he said I told him to fuk off, and that he should go where he's looking!
Thank you, artist formerly known as 'Ensil'. I assume you're referring to the little foray I had against one of Liverpool's finest Grade-A planks? I've so had it up to 'here' with that lot this season (as, I believe, have most inhabitants of our planet), that I actually decided to join the 'signature' club, dedicating it to a particularly well thought-out, reasoned and logical argument of a scouse (see above...and now below too!). Hence my 'testing 123 post'.
I think that the attitude displayed by the followers of a number of other clubs is that they are beginning to be a little worried about us as we have achieved what we have without a rich benefactor coming in, with a comparatively small ground, without having to spend a fortune (in some case an ill-advised fortune) in the transfer market and without shouting about it. En route we have won over a number of critics, are spoken of favourably by the (unbiased) media and have demonstrated that success is possible without selling our soul. The truth of the matter is that followers of clubs that used to be our superiors are now embarrassed that they are now inferior to us - the followers of these clubs have to clutch at any straw they can to try to belittle us - unfortunately, for them, they fail, because we are Spurs and we set standards others can only ever dream of achieving.
This reminds me of that May Day in 1961. The Duchess of Kent asks Danny Blanchflower why does the other team have their names on their backs? Danny answers:- "well,we know each other your highness.....!" We know our Spurs, too.
Real Madrid are after RVP just made a thread on Arsenal board about it.I expect to be laughed at and accussed of being a WUM,but oh well.Anyway that is what the papers are saying in Spain. Hopefully getting some of them off our backs about Harry and the England job.
Where did you see that? I wish our left back didn't do stepovers and dummies in our own half sometimes
