What he said - IE9 really sucks, only about 30% of the websites I have built work 100% on IE9 whereas they all work with Chrome
The revamped BBC Sports website is utterly abysmal - it's harder to navigate, is slower than the old one, and it's bloody ugly to look at. In other words, another fine use of my £145.50...
Nine of the 54 Premier League penalties Howard Webb has awarded (17%) have been given to Man Utd. Howard Webb - United's 12th man and should be questioned for being so by the FA, sorry - by MUOTFA
Actually I thought Webb got most things right today. I didn't think Cahill's challenge in the first half was a foul - they just got their legs tangled going for the ball. The Sturridge penalty was clear cut. The other one, less so, but if you put your foot where a player with the ball is about to tread - surely that makes it a careless tackle? Similar to the one against Arsenal at Swansea. I thought the most bizarre decison of the weekend was Senderos getting booked against City. There was a 50:50 ball, he got there on the stretch just before Kolarov who ran into him with great force. If it was a foul at all it was Kolarov for using excesive force.
Yeesh, that's awful! He does get big games more so would have had more of Man Utd's games in recent years though, I suppose. Anyway, this is Chelsea's new "3 goal" cushion. please log in to view this image Handle with care as it can evaporate before you know it.
Personally, I think Webb has lost track of the plot, and is currently a ****e referee. However, on this occasion, we got the result we wanted, so I think he had a bloody good game.
Google Howard Webb, Lidls. The first suggested result is Howard Webb Manchester United and the first result for that is a Howard Webb is Manchester United's Best Player Facebook group. This is the first image: please log in to view this image
Haven't seen them in decent quality yet, but the second one sounds extremely debatable. Webb simply shouldn't be given Man Utd games any more, though. Ferguson eliminates refs from taking charge of 'his' games if he doesn't like them, but he clearly likes Webb a little too much.
Hang on, lets be honest. If the phrase, or phrases, Howard Webb - penalty - Manchester United came up in the same sentence we would all know what the inference was, unless we were a Man Webb or Howard United follower.
I think the turning point in the match was when AVB took of Sturridge for Romeu. That took oaway Chelsea's pace and threat on the counter attack when united were putting them under the cosh. Im sure Sturridge would have gobbled up that chance which Torres flopped on aswell
