Manchester City's Mario Balotelli suffered a bizarre allergic reaction in last night's 2-0 Europa League loss to Dynamo Kiev when his face swelled up after coming into contact with grass on the pitch.

I happened across the golf coverage on Sky recently and they were commenting that Ian Poulter is allergic to all types of grass except one. That must be my problem as well: it explains why I spend so much time in the bunker, or fishing my ball out of the lakes, or dodging the traffic to recover it from the other side of the street.
 
i read that balotelli might have had a reaction to paint they put on the grass to make it look greener.
