Heard he is going on loan to Doncaster as part of the Billy Sharp agreement.

A mate of mine who's a Northampton fan said they were getting him on loan, but that hasn't come to pass, nor have I actually read it anywhere.
Yeah its a big rumour going around though but probably crap however if it was to be true I think it would do him the world of good.
That would be good for all involved if you ask me. He gets play time, Donny maybe get a striker who can upset the teams around us at the moment......& best of all he doesn't get to play in the reverse fixture.

He needs match fitness, and to do that he needs to play. He won't play here untill he has match fitness
Maybe a month or two loan would do him good but wouldnt like to see him out for the season, may need the backup.

This is why the PL is looking at preventing loans in the same league. They feel it is dubious to bolster another team with a player that cannot play against his own club.
A) Why wouldn't this have been completed at the same time?
B) They would have been no requirement for us to offer Donny a sweetner to accept our offer for Sharp, due to Sharp release clause.
However, as FLT says, if he does go there - or any other bottom half Championship club - he could ultimately aid our promotion chances.
