No not at SAFC, but down at Arsenal..............wtf is all that about?

Spoilt brats or time for Wenger to go?

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists he will rise above a protest planned by fans upset by recent performances.
Arsenal have taken just one point from their last four Premier League matches.

Some fans intend to cover empty seats with black bin liners at Saturday's match against Blackburn to highlight falling attendances at home matches.

"I feel we have to be above that and show our quality on the football pitch and not respond to every individual provocation," said Wenger.
Arsenal's last six Premier League games

Arsenal finished fourth in the Premier League in 2010-11, but they currently sit seventh - outside Champions League qualification and 17 points off the top.

Wenger himself has come in for criticism, most notably when he replaced Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with Andrey Arshavin before Manchester United's winning goal in the 22 January league clash.

But the Frenchman, who has won the Premier League title three times since he was appointed in October 1996 and whose contract runs until June 2014, called on fans to maintain a sense of perspective.
"I believe we played 15 years on the trot in the Champions League, and we play in 10 days in the last 16 of the Champions League," he added.

"Ideally I want everybody to be completely happy and over the moon, but we live in a world where you have to accept that not everybody reacts the same."

Arsenal have claimed that attendances at their last three home league games have been in excess of 60,000, only marginally short of the 60,432 capacit

You have to laugh don't you?

Do you think they could get 35,000 on a bitter cold Wednesday night, when the game is on the telly and they hadn't won **** all for 39 years?

These lame ****s don't know they are born. Pampered spoilt brats. The only London fans worth their salt are west ham fans imo. Totally loyal and passionate and keep going despite only 1 trophy in almost the last 50 years.

All the rest are ****e.

I noticed loads of empty seats at their recent cup match against Villa, but somehow the official attendance was a capacity 60,000 +...What's all that about?

Hope this mini crisis continues into a major one after they have lost both league & cup game to us.

Bloody good manager tho.

Gooners fans are normally good company & knowledgable when they are up here (Harbour View) so surprised at this.

Agree: far more sociable and friendly than their neighbours Spurs...

FFS they haven't won for four games. As said above, spoilt. I like Arsenal but would love it to continue for a while. Just for a laugh like.
Be even funnier if we catch them. They'd be jumping off Tower Bridge.

They give the official attendance figures based on season ticket sales regardless of how many are actually at the match.

Be careful what you wish for Arsenal fans, Whinger is a legend amongst managers imho.
What he has done without multi million pound headliners, is just short of amazing to me.
Yet he has brought in some of the best players to grace the Prem.

Spoilt brats is about spot on!

The fans are obviously getting frustrated with their manager - ring any bells lads?
Many of us called for Bruce's head for a long time; we could see the writing on the wall. Maybe Arsenal fans are seeing the same signs?
Everyone slated us for getting rid of Bruce at the time, but no-one will argue that it wasn't the right decision now. Maybe it's time for Wenger to move on?

Got to agree again. In a way I quite enjoy changing the manager every 2/3/4 years. Freshens things up. Fair enough SAF and whinger have won things but it must be boring not having all the speculation and arguing for and against every couple of years.

Comparing Bruce to Whinger, is like comparing brass to Gold. :p

Well SAFC supporters better get down and pack the s o l if we play Arsenal in the f a cup 5th round, because it is years since we played in the 5th round in the premier league, in fact have we ever got there in the prem league?.

6 years... all profits go to the shareholders... a fall from grace... **** team atm and results to... most expensive tickets in the world

Arsenal aint the only ones suffering - according to my UK contact MUFC are advertising general ticket sales in the Sun and Star for their next three OT games (against lowerr opposition). Apparently this hasn't happened for 20 years or so.
