Hence my reason they should get it over and done with. Look, I'm not Terry's biggest fan, I think he is scum on and off the pitch. However, I doubt he is stupid enough to say anything racist on the pitch, especially to the brother of his England team mate. That's why I think it's stupid to delay this case.
Ensi you sad cunt, you've been banned. So you go and make a new account just to post on the Chelsea board - just how obsessed with us are you?
I think that this is actually a gooner looking at his posting history, and his posts are very unlike Ensil
What the hell are you talking about? LOL, thanks for injecting some common sense into this thread, Thank you also for showing some common sense. Not all Chelsea fans are thick.. But my point still remains. John Terry shouldn't have even been the captain before this race fiasco. After his antics on and off the pitch he should've stepped down as captain. Yes, most of the England players are over paid prima donnas and I'm not saying they are better than Terry... but a decent man with all this media furoe surronding him wouldn't want to tarnish his nations club by still remaining captain. Come on, surely any Chelsea fan can see it makes no sense for him to go to the Euros with this hanging over his head. It's not like we really stand a chance anyway but why create further tension in the dressing room? He already alienated Wayne Bridge (who albeit was never likely going to make the World Cup 2010 squad) and now he has done the same to Rio Ferdinand... I can only imagine how the other players feel with Terry possibly going to the Euros. Can't you you just see that whether he is innocent or not (and I actually believe he is) it's best for the football team that he just steps down until this is resolved? He is bringing the England National team into further disgrace (not single handedly) but we're becoming the laughing stock even more so than before. How can we champion being one of the best countries to stamp out racism and yet have him captain the team?
Do I think he should step down....no. Do i care one bit about Rio? No. That has been should be sitting at home during the euros treeting about his bowl movements not partaking for Englang ever again. For the last time, innocent until proven otherwise.
Because his not a racist and it hasn't been proved he said a racist comment so his innoncent at the moment, we won't have a " racist " captain leading us because he hasn't been proved a racist yet, which is likely the way England see it
Think you're right SW6, I was too quick to jump to conclusions. Ensi by now would have lost the argument and resorted to correcting grammatical errors.
I know the F.A. hang off your very word and Capello is probably being told this instant that a bunch of out of work spuds on a sports forum has forced their hand. What a Knobhead
You know what? If he did go, people like you wouldn't be satisfied unless we won the whole thing. Even if we get knocked out at the semis, you'll all be like "Well Terry being in the team had an effect, we would've won it otherwise!". Miserable moaning ****ards. Some people just can't be happy unless they're knocking someone else down, a problem that's inherently endemic in this f'd up country.
Stoke fan here, NOT on the wind up.. it's not my style never has been and this is not banter we're talking about. I just want to say this re John Terry... As an Englad fan, NOT Chelsea, Stoke, any other team. J.T. is NOT guilty until proven otherwise.. that I think? is written in Law i.e. (England) I CARE about how we (England) perform in ANY game as a football nation. I do not care (no offence) what happens to J.T. AFTER the Trial in July, it's NO concern of mine as a fan of (England) I do care and I want the (best player's possible i.e. English) to represent us in the Euro 2012 competition. I don't care i.e. that J.T. (this is just an example sorry first I could think of) that HE and a certain full back, have issue's. IF the trial is (set) for July and it means (we) as a nation can do (better) with J.T. there or (worse) by his non presence. I HOPE that (he) John Terry is allowed to play for England, captain or NOT. Non of (us) the fans can not, never will have the pleasure to do that. I say this and surly this is (not) defending or (supporting) J.T. as a person on my part is it? I don't (know) what to believe (whom) to blame and J.T. is (accused of something) not yet (proven guilty) WHY should this mean that (because he is due to go to trial) some say... leave him out of the England squad in short (at home) WHAt is the point in doing that? We will be (one heck of a player short) that, is doing (England IF we want to win or try and win anything this summer) neither we or him any good what so ever. HOW long before this gets "shot down" with but he may be this, that whatever? Was (Suarez banned before a decision on his guilt or not was decided) ?? Sorry for butting in, as far as I am concerned most important thing for me right now is simple. To wake up on Saturday morning, and see my team get 3pts v Sunderland. I'll worry about the Euro's after the season ends, so should we all of us. My (Tin hat is at the ready) Just another fans views is all. Good luck to you all this weekend too!
Good post. As an England fan, I want Terry to play (he's still the best centre half we have currently) and I think he is by far the best captain. This is supported by the various England and Chelsea managers who have all picked him as captain. If he get's found guilty then you'd have to relieve him of the captain's armband. Until then (or until the fa conduct their own investigation) he should have remained captain.
