That free kick was given against Coloccini wasn't it, right well it was so bad at first I thought he penalised Danny Simpson.
If the ref had if given a pen and they went on to win that match it would have been a great injustice, they played well last night but they didnt deserve anything for the simple fact he tried to cheat a victory.
I wonder if the FA would consider banning him for a few games to make an example out of him, its disrespectful to the opposing team, the ref and the fans. I remember when Eduardo got a ban before (but i think it was a CL ban).
And? It's still the same thing, you can't ban a player after the game, either the ref gives the guy a yellow card in game or he gets it wrong, bans would just be stupid.
To be fair that is the letter of the law, but doesn't make it right, after all saw Ronaldo take a bad dive at the weekend against Zaragoza and he didn't get banned.
Rule should be added to be able to ban for cheating. Cheating is pathetic and should be discouraged.
But you'll be able to find at least 2 dives in every match, it would be ridiculous to ban them all.
Yes and then when you introduce a 'strictly no diving' policy the diving will stop almost all together.
Good, they deserve it for cheating. Would certainly make them think twice about it.
So if, for example, Ba, Tiote and Cabaye dived in a match, you'd want them to be banned?
Definitely. I have said many times Jonas pissed me off when he used to dive.
I hate diving, it's pathetic. They would deserve a ban for being cheats.
