I found a link to this on a QPR Forum, it's quite amusing and shows Fulham's junior club up in a bad light EMPLOYERS: Has one of your most valued employees been accused of a criminal offence? Will some of your other key employees be required to come forward as witnesses during the trial? Could this inconvenience your business? Perhaps the trial looks likely to be scheduled for a busy time for your firm. The disruption could be quite severe. Nothing you can do about it, right? The requirements of the criminal justice system must take precedence over the needs of individuals and businesses, right? So contingency planning for such circumstances is very challenging. Not so! If one of your people is facing a trial and you'd like to delay the involvement of other team members, simply write a letter to inform the judge that your employees "would not be able to appear as witnesses" until a time more convenient for your business. It really is as simple as that! Not convinced? Just ask Ron Gourlay, CEO of Chelsea Football Club. A delighted Gourlay explains: "We were facing a nightmare scenario. We had gambled by hiring an unproven coach whose only real achievement was winning the Portuguese league with a team that had won the title six out of the previous seven seasons anyway. The little Portugueezer just doesn't have the respect of the senior players. 'Lamps', 'Drogs' and 'JT' (Captain, Leader, LegendTM) just don't take the mouthy little bog brush seriously. Our league form was shaky and our squad was ageing fast. Then our club Captain (Leader, Legend) manages to get himself accused of racially abusing an opposing player in a heated derby match. So just imagine if our training schedule had been mildly disrupted by a couple of the team having to appear in court for an hour or so! Well, we weren't ****ing having any of that. Training comes first. You can stick that appearing in court bollocks right up your arse. Luckily, District Judge Howard Riddle understood my point when I wrote to inform him that the trial would have to wait until the football season is over. We didn't even have to suggest that some of Roman's ex-KGB mates might have to come round to have a little word! Sweet as a nut!" please log in to view this image "So there you have it," smiled Gourlay. "JT can carry on putting in his professional performances for us. I reckon we're a shoo-in for fourth place and a Champions League qualifier next season. Result! Not only that, he even gets to captain England in the European Championships this summer. Nice one, Judge Riddle. You're on my Christmas card list, mate!"
Amusing but short of facts once more. It is from a blog by ThisismyEngland, and therefore a view that portrays us in a bad light through his interpretation. The request is in fact quite valid, and the judge could have told him where to go, but obviously thought otherwise. Interesting that Ferdinands own commitments also affect the date? Nice try Kunty Kunty. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-at-Euros-as-racism-trial-set-for-July-9.html
Dangle the bait and catch a tiddler. It's not hard. Shadow sports minister Clive Efford MP is calling for the John Terry situation to be resolved sooner rather than later. He said: "It would be better for everyone if this matter was resolved before the Championships took place and then John Terry would have the opportunity to prove his innocence, if indeed he is."
im sure you was complaining on your board that : A) Spurs fans cant take a joke and start to give it large. and B) It's on the Chelsea board so why are Spurs fans on it? so now i find you on the Spurs board doing the same.
I think that it's because what I wrote wasn't a joke but the truth and the sensitive souls in nomads land don't like having to face facts.
Hmm...I not sure it was...I could stand to be corrected, but not my usual approach to be fair. Anyway, nice for you to have a taste of your own.
Perhaps you should share that sentiments with your fellow Chelsea fans, Drogs? Half of them appear to be spending their time divided between talking solely about Spurs and then saying that they're not focussing on Spurs. Could I suggest that if your move goes ahead, then your supporters club be called the Battersea Bunny Boilers? Unhealthy obsessions don't get much more stalky.
The chaps on the Chelsea board are creating threads because some of the followers of one of the least successful clubs in the premier league are camped on our board . I'm talking before any of the threads regarding your club were started.
There are always articles about Spurs on your board Drogs, but I'll ask Miggins to stop posting on there, if you like.
Compared to this: please log in to view this image those caught in Alaska are tiddlers .... you were saying?
You mean that you're not getting them banned - after all that's the way your ineffectual moderators normally operate.
Only because HIAG spends his day crossing between your board and ours . Ask the mods, a couple of months ago there was a time where he would spend a good portion of his day on the Chelsea board
Not really, maybe at first, but most of it is just telling him to stop wumming our board. Like I said, ask Ginge or SW6.
