If Jimmy came back from Ipswich and willingly took a pay cut, would you welcome him back into the side?

    Positives

    Best player in the league
Capable of winning a match on his own
He seems from his on the pitch actions to be good for team morale.
On the pitch a good role model (maybe not off it if rumours are believed)
He has the creative spark we need

    Negatives

May upset players upon his return cue to jealousy of previous wages and how he nearly bankrupt us
    Lives in the physio room
Tends to have a bit of rep around town of being a lad
Is it a step into the past?
It has been suggested he just didnt want to be here which is why he is now on fire at the tractor boys

Disclaimer: These are not all my opinions just starting points for debate.

However my opinion is if he say; played for what we are payinig him now 20kish (?) then i would keep him, look at the lift his arrival has given Ipswich the exact same lift he was giving us last year. Also to be honest i dont believe all the drug rubbish etc and everyone is allowed a drink aslong as its not the night before.

If his head and heart were in it then I'd have him back in the blink of an eye.

I just can't see it happening,he'd have to swallow a lot of pride after what has been said about him by AP and ,again,I can't see it ever happening.

Bullard is Bullard, he isn't going to change his ways now and his ways don't sit well with our management.

He'll never play for us again.

Shame but i am inclined to agree with you. Two egos dont mix and tbh i like the way our club is currently being built.

...........Also if he was fully fit, and, played the way he started for us, and Ipswich, then I would welcome with open arms, but, at the first sign of "not caring", or, problems off the pitch, but, whilst with the squad training, etc . then put him up for sale/loan or release him on a free!
But if I am honest, I, think we will find he stays in his cultural home, i.e., within an hours drive of the "smoke", if terms can be sorted.

NFUNo2 is pretty much bang on. You can't blame NP for wanting to mould City into his own team and not Browny's and Bullard doesn't fit into his plans.

He's not going to agree to play for £20k a week when he has a £45k a week contract for the next two years and him being out on the gear is true(at least it was while he was out injured), I agree with NFUNo.2, one way or another he'll be gone in the summer and he won't play for us again.

Though I did say that last season too.

He is a contracted player you cant expect him to take a pay cut if your management where silly enough to offer him the deal you must honour it. You wouldnt expect your dole money to be cut would you? When fit best player in the league you lot are cutting off your tongue to spite your face.

I think the muppet must originally be from outside the UK Borders Agency remit, as he can't quote correctly! It's " cutting off your nose....."!!

NP has been busy getting rid of dead wood and moulding his own team. He isnt going to rock the boat by bringing back people that he has ousted. There were too many figureheads left after the Prem and they were obviously influening the dressing room. No chance of a return I dont think.

Personally I lump JB with PB and wouldn't want either of them associated with the club ever again ,not even free.

No point having the best player in the league if he cant be arsed to play. He is a waste of space in a crucial area, I'd rather work on filling his boots with a cheap bargain.

On Bullard, despite all the positives and advantages an on form JB would bring, on the whole, team morale and injuries ultimately he's too much of a gamble. So doubt we'll ever see him again in black'n'amber.

As for 'Superleeds wummer' I see from his profile he's a 'Member' yes a right proper cock! probably got a slight weep from shagging his labrador ;)

Why would Jimmy Bullard ever want to put on a black and amber shirt again? I think he was crapped on by our club, he is self employed,he was offered a contract for a sum of money he signed that contract,he was crocked for a long time, not JB,s fault, the club then dropped down a division, not JB,s fault. The club found its self in financial difficulty, again not JB,s fault. At the start of the season JB was fit but he wasnt played, he trained with the reserves I believe. It was made clear to him he was not wanted at the club. So no he will not want to come back here.

I don't buy this "team spirit" crap, if the team spirit is as good as people say it is then it wouldn't have hurt the players to show a bit of it on Tuesday night. Or any game for that matter.

Of course I would welcome the best player in the Championship back into the team, we need something in midfield, we've got a creative player in Koren but he does very little and is getting by on "not being Jimmy Bullard", I still think the fact he is out on loan is pure tokenism from AP and is not helping the club at all, I'd welcome JB back on a paycut, I'd welcome him back on his full salary, you don't get quality if you don't pay for it. End this madness and bring him back asap.

Your accusations are getting very serious, you'll have this place shut down if you're not careful.

It's a moot point, his career is over. We were stupid to give him a four year deal and we have to live with it.
Fulham knew he was done and refused to give him what he wanted and we tried to blow peoples socks off.
Water under the bridge now, time to move on. It's really not JB's fault any one of us would have signed that contract if we had been in his football boots.

I'd get rid of him, he's a bad influence and we're better without him and we have a far better team spirit.

I am looking on the sunnier side of life, it's everybody else being negative and writing him off!

What gave you that impression? The spirited performance against Burnley on Tuesday night? Seriously, where is this myth coming from?

Come on TWF you know me I never say anything about your opinions and I agree with you a bit about AP.
He said he had left us in capable hands when he sold us out to Duffman and Barty which was a bit of a lie he had made his money and took off, however that Bullard deal was a shocker and the least expensive way to get out of it the better for Hull City.
I do'nt blame AP for selling up to a couple of idiots to make money and I do'nt blame JB for signing the contract but please do'nt keep bleating on about how Bullard could have got us promotion this year if given the chance for gods sakes!
