Well, there it is. 4m, and hes bagged himself a 2.5 year deal. Im glad to see him go, hes past it (I hope) and has a crap attitude. He knows what hes doing going to QPR. Cant wait for QPR away, I imagine it will be as excitable as fulham away followings have got since Hamburg.
However, that does put us a striker down for tomorrow. I really hope this Po.... dude is good, but statistically he doesn't look it..

I figure Bobby wanted out, and wanted to cement a big contract for his final years, so this works out well enough for him. He's been a soldier for us, so I wish him well. Pavel Pogrebnyak ... on paper he looked pretty good until he hurt his knee, but only time will tell if he's any good. I'm a little disappointed that none of the players I liked came over to us ... Chairman Mo seemed especially cheap this year, so I'm guessing we'll be in the market next summer for a big signing up front.

Good for Bobby. Bad for us.

He did really well for us. Sometimes his attitude wasn't what it should have been but when he wasn't scoring he was setting them up and gave us an escape outlet when under pressure. Hope he does well and I don't want him to think back on his time at Fulham and say it was rubbish.

I think this will be good for the team, hopefully a little black cloud may be lifted as I defo think he and Jol had some heated discussions.
I don't think it's bad for DR. Quite the opposite, we've been alright when Saha, VDS etc all left. Don't worry man!

Wonder if Andrew Johnson is pissed-off, wasn't he said to have been a target for Warnocks QPR,
but wasn't offered enough for him to move ? Guess he will change his Agent before the summer.

Throughout the madness of yesterday we were linked with the following

    Ryo Miyaichi (Arsenal)
    Chu Yung Park (Arsenal)
    Chantome (PSG)
    Hugo Rodallega (Wigan)
    Marvin Sordwell (Watford)
    Lucas Barrios (Borrusia Dortmund)
    Ronaldinho
    Seamus Coleman (Everton)
    Grant Holt (Norwich)
    Peter Odemwingie (West Brom)

And we got Pog on a 6 month contract and some untried kid from Portsmouth.

    Great success!

Just because we were linked with them doesn't mean we were ever actually interested in them. I find some of the names on your list very unlikely signings for us, to be honest. And let's at least see Pog play before we dismiss him. It wasn't the transfer window most of us were hoping for, but it's too soon to say it was a bad one.

Which ones did you consider 'very unlikely'? The only ones I can think of are Coleman and Holt.

Precisely the two that I had in mind, Bandy! Ronaldinho didn't seem the most obvious transfer target either. But my main point remains: it's too soon to say that it was a stinker of a window until we see how the new boy settles in. He might - might - be just what we've been looking for. Like you, I have doubts, but I suspect that few if any of the regulars on this board are yet in a position to reasonably write him off. The word 'reasonably' is the crucial one in that sentence - I'm sure that he'll get unreasonably written off very quickly. Just because the writer-offers may subsequently be proved right wouldn't make their judgement a reasonable one.

Considering we got at least £4m for Bobby and I very much doubt we paid too much for Pog, we could easily have brought in Marvin Sordell too, he went to Bolton for around £3m and apparently we were favourites to sign him. I'm sure we are a more attractive proposition than Bolton so my thoughts are we didn't even try to get him which is a real shame. Had we brought in Pog, Sordell and the young Williams lad and let Zamora go without losing out financially it would have been somewhat of a successful window.

Fair point. A similar one could be made for Maynard, who did join West Ham in the end for less than £2m. I suppose we have to trust Jol, Ali Mac and others involved behind the scenes that we didn't move for those players for good reasons. A hat-trick from Pog in his first game would make it easier to do that though. Is he expected to start tonight, does anyone know?

I think for Pog to have been eligible for tonight he would have had to have been signed by midday yesterday, unfortunately he wasn't.

Well in that case a hat-trick in his first game would be away to City. Now that would be a great start to his Fulham career.

    Good evening all.
Been sitting back watching all the big transfer movements. Some hope, must have been
the quietest Jan window ever.: re the transfer of BZ,we do not know the inside dealings at FFC,
but I am sure there was some substance in the rumor of player unrest, and if the instigator was the
aforementioned, then getting shot of was the right thing to do.
I posted over a year ago my admiration for Trotta ,now could be his big chance.
If playing tonight I feel he will give a good account of himself . (what 2 goals or perhaps a had trick)

We will line up tonight the same way we did against Everton I feel with AJ up front on his own with either Dembele or Dempsey playing off him. Not feeling optimistic for this one at all.

If Dembele is fit we will be back to 4-2-3-1 and it will be totally different from Everton. Anyone has any further info on Dembele? BBC reports he might be back.
