No particular passion here no and yes you are largely correct about who he was. I have studied that era of history on my course at uni though not done a great deal about robespierre as such. It basically stemmed from my housemate deciding one day to call me robespierre, as my name is Rob and I do often rant about my disdain for the monarchy. Anyway the nickname caught on and now it is a regular username of mine. Perfectly understandable that some might find it a little bit odd though!
