Posioned chalice of a job, managers should be climbing over each other to take charge of Leeds United but you would have to be mad to work for Bates.

Watch us either stick with Redfurn or bring in one of Bates mates as no one else will work for him.

He's had 11m to spend on players, transfers and agents fees. Source: Bates. Same as we were spending in League One. And we were expected to get to the Premiership on that budget.

It's nothing less than a DISGRACE.

As a manager I dont think he had the same pull as other managers do, that could be one of the factors in why we have had so many loan players.

Wise and Macca (as much as I liked him) didn't manage it at all!
 
If we do get Warnock, then at least we have a manager who won't stand for any of Bates' **** and will speak his mind. That's one positive at least.

It'll be interesting to see if Grayson comes out now and makes a statement of just how much Bates is holding the club back.
 
Leeds fans, please believe me when I say that I am sorry you have got a massive dickhead in charge of your club. What an outrageous decision - Grayson has done a great job for a great club with hardly any money

Only joking of course. To be fair, I think he had to go. Two hammering at home (5-0 + 4-1) All the off field nonsense which can't have helped. It would not surprise me if the players have lost respect for the guy just being a puppet in some ways.

If he had any balls about him, he would have told the old codger where to stick his job months ago. I think he has damaged his reputation now. Still the whole game is one big gravy train. He is not short of a few bob and won't be losing that much sleep about it once he gets his feet under the table somewhere else.
 
Great shame. He's done a lot for our club, which a lot of people seem to forget about. Yes its been a mediocre season, but with a awful chairman and very limited funds he's done a fair job. Chances are we wont get a good manager because they'll cost too much for Bates' liking. A Bates puppet no doubt will arrive.
