I thought the deadline for the squad registration was today or last night? Pretty sure he's not under 21 so we need to sort it soon if we haven't already.

Thread created! So now we no longer have to hijack this one! Neslen seems a good stop gap to me, even if he only plays the odd game. I can see us selling Bassong in the summer and promoting Caulker to his spot in the team

Ryan Nelsen update
After confusion over whether New Zealand defender Ryan Nelsen had joined Tottenham before the transfer deadline, the player's agent says the deal is complete. Blackburn have cancelled Nelsen's contract, leaving him free to move to London.

 

It is open, and we can transfer people to a South American team (you listening Bentley!), but sadly ours being closed means we can't bring anyone in. Unless they get their contracts cancelled!

 

I wonder if Friedel had any influence on that signing?
They'd have been together at Blackburn from 2005-08.
