I'd just about given up hope, and then we go and pick up three points on the leaders. Objectively, you'd have to say Spurs chances are small, mostly due to comparatively little depth (compared to City) and Man U's record of winning. And yet: they really could, unless they start to get key injuries--and the chances of that, of course, are good. But if they stay healthy, their starting team has shown at least as much consistent quality as either of their rivals. They've had fewer really poor results, I think.
VDV and Walker off with knocks - the latter just hours after loaning out Corluka, with three youth team right backs loaned out until the end of the season...
5 points behind with 15 games to go? we managed to overhaul an 11 point deficit and now a 5 point deficit?..its a 2 game swing..neither manc team is that good
Kyle wasn't stretchered, he did walk off didn't he? there's also 6 days till the next game, so I wouldn't worry about that just yet, as it stands if he was out, YK at RB, Daws at CB with King.
Agreed. Of the two, £ity looks the most likely of capitulating. They shouldn't even have a 5 point advantage over us, had the ref and his officials not been so incompetent during our last match against them. For all their big-name players, I still believe we have the better team.
i honestly believe that our team is better also..maybe they pip us on better replacements but as far as starting 11..id have ours over theirs anyday
Bale & Moddy would walk into any team in the EPL, and most of the teams in Europe, too. They are both truly world class.
Apparently there's a thread on the board that I am now longer able to post on entitled: Eight points down to five...Tick Tott Tick Tott (http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...ive-Tick-Tott-Tick-Tott?p=2207306#post2207306) Ignoring the fact that should be tick tock, tick tock, does anyone else thing that it might be kind to let them know that the gap is actually 7 points?
We've been ripping the piss out of them about that, since last night's game, Ensil. When that thread was started, Chelsea had cut the gap down from 8 to 5 points, but last night's scores mean that the gap is back up to 7. It's a classic case of counting chickens before they've hatched!
lost his marbles it seems... are you kevin are you kevin are you kevin keegen in disguise are you kevin in disguise!!!
Mancini's never won a game on Merseyside, either as a player or manager. Last night was his eighth attempt. Since when has Everton away been anything but a tough fixture? What a pillock.
Did he really say it would be easy??? ...you'd think he might have learnt a lesson from opening his fat gob about Bayern, that easy game they were going to win in the CL!
I think he was trying (in a ham fisted way) to take pressure off their players. Just made himself look stupid.
