I have won four match programmes from old World Cups/qualifiers. I participated in a competition without knowing about the price, I won of course :emoticon-0113-sleep. I do however feel that the programmes belong to someone who actually cares about them. I was -6 years when the latest WC in the collection took place......

Scotland-Wales 1985 World Cup qualifiers. Hampden Park
Scotland-Iceland 1984 World Cup qualifiers. Hampden Park
Northern Ireland-Bulgaria 1973 World Cup. Hillsborough
England-Denmark 1984 Wembley

"The early bird gets the worm" (Only Hull-Fans) And that person will have to pay the shipping costs, in one way or another (not sure how that works, anyone?)

Why don't you bung them on ebay, you might get a few krona for them?

around 10 quid, maximum for all 4, checked before ;) I got an free Barcelona-shirt for a few months ago, decided to give it away for free in an lottery.

That was probably not a good move, on pure economic bases, but it was fun  Over 200 "contestants", got some publicity :emoticon-0105-wink:

100 kronor or not, I would rather give it away to someone here.

PS: I will never learn when to write "an/a" :(

You sure about the 'H'? For example I have an hat. Can't say I'd ever heard of the H bit?! This a wind up lol

I agree with you on that, as at school I was taught it was only before a vowel, but, in the 80's it became the "trendy" thing to say, e.g, "an historical time." I personally have trouble with putting "an" before any word starting with "H".

I don't make the rules guys, so don't shoot the messenger. I don't say 'an hat' either, but a lot of Toffs and wannabe-Shakespeare's do. They think it makes them look intelligent.

Sounds like a vowel movement going on here.

Shall we have a vote and see if the motion's carried?

I was only joking. But they do have a different alphabet, and they do have dodgy extra vowels with funny accents and dots and dashes above them.

Well. We have the same alphabet, with 3 additions :emoticon-0137-clapp

Ã… (Pronounced like (awe) in awesome
Ä (Pronounced kinda like "eh", the sound when the dentist asks you to say something, haha)
Ö (Pronounced kinda like "oe")

That was todays Swedish lesson :D

Ask me for words and I will bring them :emoticon-0105-wink:

If there are 3 additions it's a different alphabet to me. That's what I meant about the different vowels... <doh>
So that's today's WhiteRoseTiger lesson! <laugh>
