tbh I doubt if the amount of cash they get would fit in either a brown envelope or their back pocket

Indeed.
I confess to feeling there is something very unsavoury about the hypocrisy of any organisation which does not uphold its own, stated, time-honoured and traditional values.

Yes, I think this is a pretty good analogy.

We are probably about (perhaps a lot more than?) 10 years away at present, but this provisional nod of approval is certainly a first step along that road. By the time it happens - if it happens - I would not be too surprised to see the use of very 'green' technology.

So, A1GP doing a Lazarus, then? And Bernie's ludicrous gold-silver-bronze proposal finally being validated ?


For heaven's sake are the IOC and FIA both fast asleep ?
