Celtic couldn't recognize a good player.

It would be childish to say that you can't recognise how to spell recognise.

So I won't <ok>.

In fairness, Hooiveld never really got a chance. It couldn't have been easy for him joining a massive club like Celtic. I am glad he has found his level playing at a nice family club.

You accepted Arsenal's demands? A bit cowardly that, is your owner a Frenchman?
We accepted their demands back then(2006) because our owner then,at that time was a big idiot. He has left ages ago now and now we've got "Don" Cortese, our Italian chairman who doesn't any sh1t.He told Arsenal what to do when we sold Oxo,hence the 40% sell on clause...

Well done on not filling your stadium in a country where there are only 2 teams to support <laugh>

Bottom line is if Hooper does want to go to Soton then the best of British to him, but he will regret it as many before have done.

Perhaps he sees a family club like them are his stepping stone to a bigger EPL club like Wigan, West Brom or Stoke?

IF (and it's a big IF) he does join you Yokels, then he can always jump ship when you get relegated (if you get promoted in the 1st place) so good luck to him <ok>
