To be fair to the Saints fans. That's at least two 17 pages threads about it.

Imagine Newcastle/Liverpool were in for Hooper?

Diddy team who competes in a competitive league structure though, so swings and roundabouts.

Still a diddy team, they can't even be arsed bothering to have delusions of grandeur, if they had they would have built a bigger stadium. Says it all really.

I think S'hampton fans have got people to post for them who are not actually Southampton fans. There are more posters
than there are season ticket fans. Hooper wouldn't like playing in front of 30,000 fans at home matches.
Let them grow before they annoy us.

Our chairman is "worse" than some of our fans.
We will once we are an established premier league club,Cortese wants to extend the stadium to 50,000.

I suppose if we had every catholic in our respective country supporting us, we'd be quite big too.

Sadly we have to compete with the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, West Ham etc... within a 2 hour radius so it makes things a little more difficult.

So you name your stadium after the most venerated of all the saints in all of Christendom.<doh>

Southampton, the Rangers of the south. Bringing religious intolerance to football since 2001.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to wander into my lair so let's dispel some of that mist of ignorance that seems to be swirling over Southern Englandshire.

Not every Catholic in Scotland is a football fan, and not all Catholics follow Celtic. There are people from ALL religions who support Celtic, myself included who was raised as a Protestant as were my 2 brothers and Father, and I am by no means unique on that score, so take your blinkers off and wake the **** up before you make an even bigger arse of youself than you already have with your laughable (and not in a funny way) assumptions.

Celtic FC has nothing to do with religion whatsoever, they are no more a Catholic club than Spurs a Jewish one.
