Given that his partner was terminally ill, did he really not have anything better to do than come on an internet forum winding people up?
 
back to the OP.... very sad. Lost my mother to cancer 14 months ago. Nasty illness that one day we may understand and be able to do something about.

A bit petty people answering on here about his forum actions; have some grace or just don't comment.
 
I never came across him on here, but it doesn't matter who you are, what team you support etc etc. Cancer affects us all the same at one point or another. My sympathies go out to him and his partners family and friends. I also lost my mum to cancer when i was just 7, it's obviously a horrible thing to go through and i wouldn't wish it on anyone.
 
Thanks Jen, I never got banned though. Not asking for anything for me but mearly to help stop others going through the same thing.

Actually can't believe that someone has questioned a banning and why he was on a forum! Absolutely callous and unbelievable.My condolences Billy,even though i don't know you things like this bring us together.So sad and i hope you find a way to deal with your pain.RIP Janie.
 
Thanks lads, just to put the record straight though, I thought I'd been banned from posting here after halloween but it turned out just to be a technical hitch.

We never knew at that time how ill Janie was. She was sent for scans in November & they found a tumour in her stomach & colon. Janie died in early December before the biop results came back. That's why they had to do an autopsy.

I've been through it before with my dad who went down to four stone & lost the will to live, at least Janie never suffered that.

The thread will be closed on February 1st, that's why I asked Jen & Hornette for help.

Cyprussyd asked me if he could send flowers but her family & myself had already agreed we'd rather any money go to the charity so I said to Syd if he wanted he could make a small donation. I never expected it to go public & raise as much as we have. We have one or two things in the pipeline between the mags & the mackems like taking bets on the derby & donating it & also, some of the lads have suggested doing the great north run for it.

Very sorry to hear this Billy. It's such a terribly cruel disease and something terribly hard to go through as a relative. Having been there myself, the best advice I was given was that although the pain never truly leaves you, it does become softer with time and you're left with all the happy memories. Please hang on to that, and I genuinely wish you and your family all the best. COYR.

Sorry to here about your partner billy. My condolences go out to you and anyone that was close to your wife be it friend or family.

Add my condolences to the family and yourself Billy. Have every empathy having experienced having someone close who fought the cancer and lost. A donation will be forth coming.
 
Sorry to hear that, bro. Chances are we'll all have to deal with this pain at some point. Some of us probably already have. Cancer's a bitch but it'll be beaten one day.
