IMO Adkins usually gets tactics spot on and is not afraid to change things round. Loads f examples of that this season.
Yes, I agree. Adkins idea is to win every game it is possible to do. Therefore his teams are set up to attack even away from home, although he will occasionally fill out the midfield with Lambert on top, in a 4-5-1. Of course, then he gets criticised for doing that, from various sources. I think Le God's assertion that.. Adkins often gets the tactics completely wrong away from home, is way, way too much of an over statement. I wouldn't be able to argue with.. Adkins occasionally gets his tactic [slightly] wrong away from home, as that would be much more indicative of Saints record. As Godders reminds us, he's not infallible.
Last season our away record was very good so your point, as it stands is wrong. You may say it was against weaker teams but the tactics still varied from the home tactics
I was deeply offended that you should think me irrational and am now even more offended that you might be implying that University Challenge is in some way beyond me. I keep a tally of how many questions I get right whilst watching and last night my score was 9 which was better than some of the contestants.
Disagree with this, we were unlucky against brighton, unlucky against leicester and unlucky against cardiff. Doncaster and Bristol we deserved to lose, but that was more down to not turning up than poor tactics.
Im chuffed with the loan signing who cares if it isnt permanent we get use of a class act.... honestly some saints fans.
Jen. You really must grasp that Godders doesn't do irony. I have fallen into the same trap in the past
