I agree he will go back to England, but possibly not for another 18 months. Lennon would not stand in his way if he believed the move was right for all concerned ie right amount of cash, best club for Hoops etc.

Doubt Lennon gives a **** about which club he goes to as long as it's for the right money, why would he?
 
Why 18 months. If you win the Title this season he's realistically done all he can up there. He stands a chance of getting in with a club like Middlesbrough who won the diddy eurocup anyway.

By that logic Ryan Giggs should have hung up his boots years ago as he achieved everything he could in football by the late 90s.

For a start, Middlesbrough didn't win the UEFA cup.

Secondly, do you honestly think playing for a team that finishes no better than mid-table in a good year is more attractive than playing for a team that win trophies and plays in Europe every year?

As I pointed out earlier, Man Utd have won more titles than Celtic over the past 20 years so which is the greater challenge?

All English Football = World Class

These arseholes comment on the SPL but in reality know next to nothing about it.

The trophies are tinpot mate. it's a local derby. We get them in england too.

As for european football. Premier league teams play 6 fixtures against Champions league sides every season anyway. It's not the same variation and we're not going to pull Barcelona out of a hat, but in a broad sense the quality is there. Two or three teams outside the top three are better than most champions league teams as well.

You get to play every team in the top half of your league about ten times. Let's charitably equate that to premier league mid table.

Beyond that there's the opportunity to actually get into europe with a premier league side.

I fully accept that the european football boon is a real one. But you're not going to do anything with it.

If we win the title we get into the group stages of the CL - hard to turn downyou must admit?

We wont be selling him next January window as no club likes to sell at that time thas why I guess about 18 months <ok>
