So you'd rather be the highest scorer in Lithuania than an average player in the Premiership? There's a reason players are always wanting to move to the EPL and La Liga even if they know they won't be superstars any more.

No, I'd rather play for a team that wins titles and plays regularly in Europe than a team that yo-yos up and down between divisions and wins nothing of note.

    Yes, money.

Some people actually prefer trophies - or even a chance of winning them - over money, so who are you to crtiticise? Are you now sticking up for mercenaries (of which there are many in England)?

I must admit, Trashing league one for two seasons was fun for a bit. If we had the opportunity to split leagues one and two off and get a Champions league place it might have been worth considering but probably still wouldn't have gone for it.

No, money is why people go to Turkey, UAE etc, look at Asamoah Gyan who was being paid a healthy salary in England but buggered off anyway proving that jetting off to the middle east is a better cash in. Further examples are Kenny Miller, Scott Carson, Kris Boyd, ummm, you heard of a fella named Aiden McGeady? Money is clearly not the number one reason for joining the English league.

What's wrong with mercenaries? How many of Celtic's players did you sign from other teams, do they count as mercenaries?

I like the way you slag Scottish football off for it's lack of competition.

Do you know since it's inception in 1992 Man Utd have won 12 out of 19 titles?

    In short, pish.

Do you earn more in the UAE than the Murdoch League?

Ravanelli went to Middlesbrough and Derby cos they're pretty towns full of educated bohemians.

I like the way you slagged a Saints fan off for a minor spelling mistake.

Midtable players certainly do otherwise why would Gyan stab Sunderland in the back like he did?

They've also had the same manager for all that time. If he ever retires we'll see if the dominance continues. Apart from manchester united the top four has been in a reasonable state of flux though. Lots of clubs close to united's status and financial bracket. The days of the likes of Norwich finishing runners up seem to be gone though.
