Never heard of them <laugh> I'm not a massive film buff though, it has to be said. I'll give them all a listen like.

Hermann wrote for ****loads of Hitchocks. You know the famous string music in Psycho? Yep, that was him. Shostakovich's film scores were mostly soviet films and are less known but as a composer he is pretty much as huge as 20th Century composers come, arguably the most important in terms of contribution. You'd recognise some of his famous pieces instantly I'm sure.

I still prefer the first SAW mind <whistle> Can't deny that Vol II has some utterly beautiful songs on though!

I must be the only person on here to prefer the 1st set of ambient works

<grr> The first album isn't even really ambient unless you enormously bend the definition <laugh>. It's a great album though yeah, listen to it regularly - but as I'm usually awake at 4am and spaced out as hell you can pretty much see why I prefer the 2nd volume.

Thats the case alot of the time thought isnt it!? I hate it when I know a song, yet never know the artist. Really irritates me. There is a classical piece of music that used to be played when we entered assembly in infants school. I'd love to find it, but I believe it will be impossible as obviously there are no lyrics to look up. But, looking back on it, it's probably one of the most beautiful bits of music I have heard in my life. Says alot about a piece of music when it can keep a 100 odd 6 year olds calm.

Haha yeah, I know that feeling too well; having something in your head and having no way of finding out what it is besides browsing through craploads of pieces that you think it might be.

But, I dont even know what it might be. Thats the real frustration with it. One day, I may find it. I will listen to it like a million times over <laugh>

I watched Tiote play against Libya today with Ivory Coast. <diva>!

He didn't have much to do but he tackled well when needed and passed well when needed too. He didn't pick up a fight too or get a red card. :D

How is daily life in Libya there days? If you dont mind me asking?

Yeah the show itself is poor but y'know. Nevermind eh.

Anyone seen Your Highness? She's in that

You lasted that long?!

In my defence, she didn't have any clothes on at the start, didn't want to risk not watching it.

In the end it just turned me on then pissed me off at how ****e the actual program was, so I stuck YouPorn and had an angry ****. <ok>
