I'd have to agree as well unless he started to score goals soon, but I'm not sure that they will be many clubs that will want him now that he hasn't done it at Bradford or Bury

According to HDF Cullen scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 win behind closed doors friendly against Sheff Wedn yesterday.
Devitt was in line for a loan deal in Scotland but it fell through.

Yeah the scottish club wanted him 2 play in the cup but he is cup-tied as he played 4 us against Macclesfield. Didn't realise english and scottish cups were linked?

I think I've got the wrong end of the stick having looked at the facts again! He can't play for another club in the same season as he has already played for the maximum amount of clubs

Cullen and Devitt along with Mr Cairney all have over inflated opinions of their own ability from the egotistical reign of Mr Brown, who thrust them upon the first team, gave them extended contracts and made them believe they had 'made it'.
I've not seen Cullen have one good game in a city shirt and dont even get me started on Devitt - the goofy little halfwit couldnt even get in the bratfud team!

i agree about devitt. the word rubbish has been replaced with his name in our football dictionary. 4 th division at best.

you obviously have never seen cullen play in the ressies in the past. game after game he was impressive against some decent lower grade opposition. he will improve regardless of his arogance. there arent many footballers with a low opinion of themselves by the way. nigel pearson had a very high opinion of him as do others in the game. dont know about Nick barmby to be honest!

I've seen them play for our first team, but don't know how well they've done in their loan spells or the reserves - other than what I've read in the press. My general feeling is that Cullen has the most potential. But neither is good enough for us at this level right now and probably never ever will be.

I think Devitt will do better than Cullen and whatever either of them achieve, I doubt it will be with City.

I'm not sure Cullen is all that highly regarded either, he's out of contract in less than six months.

Cullen has only played for Bury so can join anybody anywhere for the rest of the season.

Devitt has played for us, and for Bradford whilst on a long term loan so can't move internationally unless it's to a league that runs January-December. He can however either return to Bradford on a long term loan or an emergency loan, or go elsewhere on emergency loans (28-93 days) to any club in England.

Ah cheers Ricardo thats clarified Devitt's situation then, I didn't realise he could play for three clubs if he went on an emergency deal as 1 move and a season long as another. I think whats clear is they both need league games wherever to see if they can get some consistent performances.

Cairney could still live up to his potential, he shows flashes of it now and then, I think the other two aren't good enough for us

Yeah, the emergency loans don't count towards your 2 clubs. Nicky Shorey the other year played for Villa, joined Forest on an emergency loan in November, and then joined Fulham in January. Scott Sinclair a few years back in one season played for QPR, Charlton, and Palace all on emergency loans as well as Chelsea's first team.

When it comes to emergency loans they can be any length from 28 days up to 93 days and taken in up to 3 installments if you want to try and stretch it out. eg you sign them on a Friday for 29 days. That makes them eligible for 5 Saturday games. They then stay training with you and rejoin you officially the following Friday so that you don't waste 5 days of the time they're spending with you. And the 93 days is the limit for that player per club, they can spend 93 days each with 3 different clubs, for us that means Devitt could join a club tomorrow for 28 days, and then next month join another club til the end of the season (if it's within 93 days).
