The most interesting part was "Although Lee did not meet the initial criteria to gain a work permit, his case has been approved by the football authorities, who agreed that the international star is an exceptional talent that will enhance the game in this country, and at the age of 26 has plenty to offer over many years."

I believe normal criteria is 20 caps for a country rated in the top whatever of FIFA's arbitrary ranking system, Lee has just nine. This is what took Liverpool so long to sign Mark Gonzalez a few years ago, I believe...Still, sounds an exciting prospect, I can't wait to see him play to judge for myself.

I hadn't posted this?! I was thinking about making a thread in a few hours about it but how the hell did this happen?!

Anyway, the important thing is that Tadanari Lee has his work permit. Or will get it. ;)
 
somehitng wrong is with the forum - the layout if mucked up, timesa rent right and nothing is updating or anything

Ah, I can see how it's working out now. -Dan's post will continue to be the last one until someone posts after the timing of his original post, after midnight. Then the thread will hopefully put itself in order. Bit of a hiccup earlier, I suppose.
 
It appears we have a new host as well as a new server and there is teething problems which are being worked on as we speak, in regards to the Forum.............

Apologies if anyone else has covered this, but does anyone know if he can speak English ? Or Does NA need to learn Japanese .......

It would be Lees responsibility to learn English, Adkins cant be expected learn the native language of each person in his squad can he.
