Er, why does he need to go anywhere? He's more than happy at Carra Rud for the time being and whilst I don't dispute for a second if the Spurs job became available he'd definitely consider that, but it's not as if he's desperate to leave a club that he is incredibly happy and proud to currently manage with a squad of players that he has built who would crawl over broken glass for him is it? <doh>

He might very well be happy at Carrow Road, I'm sure he was very happy at Colchester too!!! However, don't be naive to think that he wouldn't go to a bigger club for more money and money to spend at the drop of a hat.

I'm not saying that's us but I'd be amazed if he's still with you guys at the start of next season!!!

Yeah I'm underwhelmed, so he didn't **** up Roy's team and then he left Fulham cos he didn't think they were big enough for him. If he joins us and manages to keep us up he'll be at Newcastle by Christmas.

Zola was shight at West Ham and Clarke the brains of the outfit is now at Liverpool. If we get him then we know TF's just in it to give his Hammers mates a laugh!
 
Hughes certainly didn't cover himself in glory at Fulham when he left but i'm not really bothered now. It was poor taste yes and you wouldn't expect it but so be it.
He actually in my view had us playing some very good football. Least we forget we were bottom 3 at xmas, thumped 3-1 at home by WHU and many calling for his head. However he overcame this and we became difficult to beat again. Always has a better second half to the season mind you.
Did well to keep hold of Schwarzer from Arsenal, very good purchase in Mousa Dembele and a horid buy in Carlos Salcido.
I dont think it would be a bad move but he has this reputation now self inflicted of course but it remains, is he waiting for the Chelsea job is always in my mind.

No disrespect intended, QPR are a similar sized club to Norwich and might have a few quid to spend, but ultimately they are at the wrong end of the table with a squad of players that are not exactly of the Lambert Mould. He knows he is onto a good thing at Norwich and supported as far as possible by a good board of directors who trust his judgement on everything football-wise.

My biggest worry on losing Lambert is if Redknap takes the England Job and Spurs come calling. Now that undeniably WOULD be a step up the football ladder.

As for QPR, Hughes would be a good shout. Was doing well at Man City and (IMO) unfairly sacked just because we was not 'sexy' enough for the board. I think Hughes could do a really good job for you guys.

Very true froggo. If I were a Norwich fan i'd take it as a very good compliment that he's mentioned so frequently.

Blackburn

What he did at Blackburn seem to be forgotten by the masses. What have been of Blackburn before and after Hughes speaks for itself. Only negative is the disciplinary records, but it got them results, which we badly need at the moment.
