He hasn't done all that badly, and now they don't have a manager in the transfer window. Unless they have someone else lined up.
i don't like him, but i don't like qpr, so they were a match made in heaven, pity he didn't have the chance to take them down
The only reason they saked him was so they can get a 'high profile' manager to boost theyre reputation. Very harsh I think.
Putting aside whatever I think of him, I think it's harsh. Although if you look at QPR's position in the PL you might reassess. The owners don't expect them to be hovering over the bottom 3, but then they wouldn't, of course. Rich as they are, they expect to spend as little as possible for the maximum success. That's part of how they got to be rich in the first place, by not throwing good money away stupidly. Well perhaps that's where the problem lies. I suspect Warnock wanted some proper funds, and the owners said no, because their confidence in the man didn't run to that extent. It's a strange world, when you deny funds to a manager who probably needs it, to get the team moving up the league, yet you expect better. Who's the football expert in that club..? I bet Warnock knows more than they do. Having read the news of his sacking, he seems quite understanding of their decision. Perhaps they pushed some money in his direction after all.
Well, only one home win in 10, and that was against 9 man Chelsea. I'm not that surprised but I wonder who will replace him.
Hopefully Warnock going won't set off a chain reaction. Lots of old Saints currently out of work who are bound to be linked. Ian Dowie, Strachan, Dave Jones and Mark Hughes and I suppose even Hoddle. Who do we think is in the frame?
Be a foreigner I would think. I care little, but I must say, I havn't forgotten Warnocks disparaging remarks about us earlier in the season in reference to Gorkss.
