Yellows for taking shirts off or lifting them over your head etc. wasn't brought in for offensiveness, but for sponsors. Think about it: which clips are played most often after a match? The goals and the celebrations that follow them. Therefore, this is when sponsors get the most airtime. So when they're paying millions a year, they're not going to be best pleased if the most lucrative part of the match doesn't include the sponsorship they paid for.

Sad, but true. Mind you, I don't particularly miss seeing Ryan Giggs' gorilla chest on MOTD...
