why would that be funny? It would mean the guilty scum was still getting away with racism on the football terraces.
Not changing the subject at all ,just highlighting over reaction and stupidity, and the need to avoid the chaos we are slipping in to! this could be the downfall of the whole game! ( which I wonder if it wouldnt be a bad thing) If a few words at a sporting event causes so much trouble, the answer is simple ,ban the sporting event then you are sure no ones feelings are hurt!
Be funny if the wrong guy was convicted ,,,,,,,,coz get all the liberal do gooders in a right tizzy!!
Norway, where are going with this? If this is the guy then they have to ban him from the ground, set an example!
Ok Hornette I was raped by arabs , I think that qualifies as racial abuse , what racial abuse have you suffered if you wish to take the physical aspect out of it ! You do gooders make me puke sometimes ! A lesson in the world the strong survive , the weak die off ,the lesson is in nature! ****in keyboard arseholes that havent gone out of their own comfort zones! livin in there own little perfect worlds! , smell the ****in coffee people the world aint like that ! strength is respected , weakness is not! that holds true in africa .europe ,or asia,or anywhere for it is human nature and you are not going to legislate against that!
Norway, i think maybe you need to step away from the keyboard for a while before you say something (else?) you may regret.
No I will never deny what has happened , but move on , recover , and do the best job I can do for my family , although you can now understand why i think the "racial" thing in the uk is so ****ing crass! Go live in africa , go live in some arab states! then you will personally know what proper racism is ! I stand by my statement of the people that cry wolf make it harder for other people in the world , and for that you still make me puke!
Hitler was strong, many weaker than him did die off. That's why we have the rule of law in most countries - to protect the weak from the strong.
Consider this Vic , the middle east is a firepoint , Asia is a fire point , If Hitler would have won the war would the cuban misile crisis have happened ,would we have been 2 minutes to midnight! would there have been various conflicts ?Hitler was wrong and we all agree on that , but the human race hasnt learnt any lessons from that era! Hitler was a maniac , what would have happened if goerings assasination attempt would have succeeded ,would the world be better off now! **** a few years back America and Russia were so close to killing the planet! These are the points of history to learn from , not "he called me blackie"
BB - If the guy is charged with the same offence as Terry, he should get a similar punishment as Terry as they are being dealt with by the criminal law. I am sure Liverpool will ban him for life as other clubs do...
After some of the comments on this thread last night, I am no longer interested in contributing to this web board.
True, but that merely highlights the ludicrous punishment that was dished out in the Suarez vs Evra case. There is no way that what Suarez said is worse than what this fan is supposed to have said. In fact, IMO the opposite applies. The fan's words were probably even premeditated, whereas Suarez' were made in the heat of the moment after provocation from Evra - so, criminal law or otherwise, why are the punishments so inequitous? Because it is politically expedient to make them so? As for John Terry, he appears to have been publicly found guilty before even getting to court - all based on a five-second, soundless video of him shouting something at someone. Nothing proven, and, from what I have read, he has a perfectly reasonable explanation. I don't particularly like him, but, like everyone else, he does deserve the opportunity to state his case before being publicly castigated.
When people suggest that racism remains a serious problem in football (and some clubs in particular) the response from many is denial - or worse. Norway - I have sent you a private message asking for some reasons for your closure of the thread I started on Dobson & Norris. Having read some of your comments in this thread, I don't hold out much hope of a rational response.
Exactly mark!! They are people themselves and are subject to the same feelings and laws as us! They are professional and if we boo them or jeer them when they play they take it on the chest and move on. But the bill sharp incident blew the line away and anything personal should be stopped! I have read the comments, twice!. I can say that this guy clearly was not cryin wolf or jumping on a bang wagon, the police have arrested someone and that shows how serious it was! That person, if guilty, needs banning from all sporting events and locking away for a long time!! The player was a kid for christs sake!! Imagine if it was Britt Norway, you would be singing a whole different tune for a change!! Actually the law does apply, however the force has to be excessive! Like the furgason headbutt! Also you will remember that our own Martin Taylor was under scrutiny when he broke Edwardo's leg, Arsenal were considering pressing charges then!!
