Youre right there - fantastic turnout and literal non-stop noise for the full 90. I also loved the celebrations from the bench when we won - including Bo - showing what a strong squad spirit we had. The only away game I can remember of recent years where we had such unequivical support when things we going poorly was Sheff Utd away under Taylor when we lost 3-2 after being 2-0 down. The suppot was astonishing and we basically forced City to fight back that day.

One of the best away's ever.

Though not as good as the 4-2 win against the Wendies(aka the Nick Barmby show).

I recall after that 4-2 at Hillsborough thinking "hang on, this club's on the up".. we'd been scraping around for years avoiding liquidation and losing to smaller fry.. for me (even if I wasn't there) it was the awakening of HCAFC..

Which - Fulham or the Blunts? Both were ace and I'm proud to say I was there. I was also at 2-4 at Hullsborough and missed the first 25 mins queueing to get in. It was undoubtedly fantastic but for me although the team were great that day, the fans numbers were better than the vocal support.

Still, 7500 in the 3rd tier on a Tuesday night is pretty effin' special...

I was referring to the Blunts game, but Fulham was a great night too(I always like going to Fulham, there's something about the ground and the area, I like Brentford for the same reason).

I have honestly never come away from a game we lost feeling so good. It was an amazing day and the City fans were as good as I ever remember.

The neutral area is gay, the Michael Jackson statue is gay and the turkey sandwich people are all gay, but apart from that, I like it.

Isnt it interesting in that, with all the success we have had in the last decade, we're getting misty eyed over a game we lost to a team now a full division below us in the league ladder? It shows it isnt all about on pitch performance when it comes to feeling proud. I remember the often cold exteriored Peter Taylor simply remarking in his televised post match interview that "our fans showed Sheff Utd what it is to support a team today". He hit the nail on the head perfectly.

you may have to wait until the summer for this to happen IF it does at all.. Tottenham who had both Jordan and Allen at the game watching have said they wont be bidding. Huddersfield value promotion more than cash at the moment. Not everyone is money mad.
