My view is #nufc will draw up a new deal for Demba Ba, also seems delighted with life here too, told me the Toon more chilled then London

Lee Ryder

FFS he can sack his agent if wanted to, remember who the player is here. Don't just think every player moves for money.

Oh dear ! What can I say ? the player loyalty argument again! no thanks I'm tired iof winning that one. It's like a revolving door I can't ****ing get off.

Hopefully we will keep him! if not I'm going to take some calming.

Ba's the best since Shearer - it would be a catastrophe if he was allowed to leave, for £35 mill let alone 10. That repulsive cockney git Redknapp was licking his rubbery lips.

I'm not sure that Ashley/Llambias will offer him a massively improved contract, as well as he's been playing this year there is still the danger that his knee could go, and i'm sure i've read somewhere that his contract at the moment is highly appearance based.

With respect though - even if teams bid £10m, where would Demba actually be interested in going? There's no point going to to any team aside from those in Champion's league football, we stand as good a chance as those around us of getting into the Europa league in the next couple of years, depending on results in the cups. And how many other teams have as many french speaking players as ours? Realistically it's only Man U, Man City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal who it would even be worth considering and of those who would buy him? Tottenham? Aside from that I'm not sure the others would be interested given the players in their teams atm. And Tottenham's back in London, which Demba's agent said he's not keen on. I'm trying to be positive about this one - I don't see Demba doing a Carroll.
