Apparently it wasnt performance enhancing and may have been "accidental", how do you accidentally take a drug?
I think its just when you take a legal drug but don't tell the club about it. Happened to two CSKA Moscow players last season in the Champions League. He won't get punished as theres nothing sinister to it.
I see, then it shows up on the test and they think the worst. Unless maybe he was spiked (something non-serious though)?
Yeah has happened a couple of times that I can remember, the simplest of legal drugs can contain illegal substances, this is probably what it is.
I'm surprised this was made public though. Even if he's innocent his rep will always be tainted by these allegations.
It might have been rubbed onto him by a passing cyclist.
Maybe he'd been kissing an Eskimo with a bad habit!
