Now i am expecting to be rubbished for this but i've just been passed some info by someone who works closely with the first team, telling me that we have been in touch with Sunderland with regards to signing Fraizer Campbell either on loan or permanent. Now i dont post often but given the position this person has at the club, i have no reason to doubt him. Has anyone else heard the same(OLM i'm looking at you!)??

Without being too hypocritcal - no-one detested him (and his dad) more than me when he strung us along and at the death went to the sun-land, stopping us shopping for a similar player.

But, but.......time is a bit of a healer, and I would have in back in Tiger skin. :)

In all seriousness, though, does anyone think Campbell would welcomed after what he did??

It would be like Gary Neville signing for Liverpool.

After all that has come out about the Bartlett/Duffen dealings the Campbell "transfer" incident has to be looked at in a different light.

Campbell probably made the right decision in hindsight, maybe not for us as fans at the time, but he could have known more than we knew.

I think he'd be welcomed back by the majority, especially if Barmby wanted him here.

Crikey if this the response i've had over this part of what he told me then i certainly aint putting the 2nd bit of what he told me!! As I said earlier we will see by the end of Jan if he is telling the truth or not. I for one would welcome him back but suspect there is some who would not

its the gloating and the lack of class in front of the city fans when we played sunderland that angered most, more then the actual transfer....compared to the exact oppisite from turner who was almost apologetic when he scored.
