I did a similar thing in that I buggered up a transfer for a youngster - Villa had an amazing newgen CM, I was pushing them to give me a good price but it took too long and he accepted a season long loan before I could do anything about it. Have some great players at Gillingham, I got Henley from Blackburn for around 10k, he is worth 300k. Also I got Nelson from Plymouth for 10k and he is now subject to offers of over 1 Million.

Just lost 5 games on the bounce (including at home to Novara) and slipped from 1st to 6th and now I want to cry. Craziest turn in form I've ever experienced.
Im top of League 1 with the gills, Baldock has 29 goals this season and I am only just reaching half way, he is attracting attention from big teams. I had to sell Jordan Rhodes as he wanted a new contract and he wanted 20k a week, I sold him to Soton with Charlie Lee. I also have Danny Drinkwater who has scored a few this season, David Robertson has 11 this season and he is vice captain, The captain who I got from Dundee Utd has got 15 this season and is called Johnny Russell, he is great. I also have Zaha and Clyne, I think I am building a team who is tough for anyone to beat as I won against West ham and Birmingham in the League cup and they are both in the Premier league and then I got Arsenal and I only lost 1-3 at home which is not bad.
