It was brilliant when Savage used his very own EOS line on him 'Barnsley are better than Sheffield Wednesday at this moment in time End of story' Normally when you get idiots on these phone in's, they cut them off, but Savage found him so entertaining, that he was asking for him to be kept on the line. How on earth did a Greco/Greenford man become a supporter of Sheffield Wednesday; did he work up there? At least I could cycle every other Saturday to watch my old team play. He's an interesting person Swanny. In the years I had contact with him on the old site, we only came to "blows" a couple of times. When he first bounced me, I reacted and we ended up being polite to each other. From that point on, we were fine. Though I never really gor into the heated stuff that happened when he got up a head of steam. He could be really single minded, but also rather personable at other times.
Cyc: Believe it or not I remember that first brief encounter. Well, suffice to say, I do agree with your observations. However, a difficult man and hard to understand at times.
Nightmare springs to mind. I defended him on many occasions and tried to help him on his approach to the forum but in the end I had to give up.
