WHAT do you think I said that might be contraversial? I only said, what I think and i stand by it.

Kenwyne Jones is more often than not, bone idle.
AM i the ONLY Stoke fan who thinks he is?

And, I certanly would NOT play him before Crouch or Walters at the minute just my oppinion of course.
And, it was confirmed that there are other's closer to the Club than me. Think he is.

YOUR thoughts on K J guy's are?..........................if you were T.P. would YOU play him.? on a regular basis.

I said the other day, I think T.P. would make a great poker player from what I've heard and said on here..
We'll see if I'm right. Same with Waddo and his (insider in the club) friend.
I think? Waddo is onto somthing <whistle> and it does not involve Jermaine Pennant.

Potts his defensive work is excellent at heading clear from set pieces and corners, but his inability to stayon his feet and look interested in front of goal gets him a huge NO from me mate. Sunderland fans did warn us on these very boards when we bought him that after a few weeks the toys would be out of the cot and his head dropped and him looking like he did not want to turn up. KJ is a player that the grass is always greener on the other side until he gets bored again!

Quite right about KJ in fact, there is a thread on the Sunderland board on this very subject!
Makes for an interesting read too!

A happy New Year to all Stokies, whether you love or dislike our glorious leader - which brings me to the point regarding Defoe.

TP likes to play one up front as a target man (be it Crouch or KJ), and then a player in the Walters mould (to run his hind legs off and pressure the defensive midfielder). Do we really see Defoe fitting into that role - he is after all a goalscorer, not a "water Carrier"- no disrespect meant to Super Jon.

I can not imagine TP changing his attacking strategy, when clearly he does not actually have one, and while Defoe is a "name" player who I would love to see at Stoke, I just do not see him fitting into how we play.

Ideally TP would like to unearth the new Brendan O'callaghan or Paul Warhurst, Centre Forwards who can play Centre Half, or Centre Half's who can play Centre Forward?

Anyway, lets hope that today we actually manage a shot or two on goal -as statistically Wilson's effort against Villa hit the Bar and does not count as an effoprt on target, I make it 180 minutes and counting since we forced a keeper to make a save.

    Onward to the 40 points!

Re; Post 21 - sorry Potts, I wasn't suggesting you were being at all controversial, I am grateful for your knowledge of what is going on down at the Brit especially regarding Jones. I always believe what you say and value your comments. As for KJ I agree he is idle at times and maybe the time is right for him to move on.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE ON HERE :):)

No problem matie.. I thought you meant that what I said on here might get the Stoke fans into one massive argument regarding K.J. nothing more.
    Happy New Year Potter!
