Of ther pace brigade, Caldercruix is a bugger to pull back when in form and if Steve Drowne manages to dictate, will go close.
I heard Murphy got banned for his ride on Tamarinbleu today, can anyone confirm ? If correct this is why the new rules are wrong - it may be best if racing is abandoned on any ground worse than good to soft....

It looked like he hit the horse 4 times before the final fence and 5 times on the way to the line, not excessively hard. What's the limit.....is it 8? Is that why he's been banned? Poor Timmy.
