What is it with Porto they seem to charge extortionate price's for their player's. I remember a few year's back they charged Chelsea £13 million for Paulo Ferreria and replaced him with that Greek bloke Seitaridis who they bought for £2 million and then they sold Seitaridis a year later for £10 million. They must have the best buisnessmen in the world running their club, id love to see their net spending from the last 10 year's.
I made a similar point earlier in thread. I mean Chelsea are allegedly preparing an £86m bid for Hulk £86M?! Torres had a reputation and you could kinda see why they spent as much as they did for him, the same with Shevchenko & Drogba but Hulk has only ever done it in portugal

It's crazy, they got some major compensation for AVB and id imagine they did for Jose too, fair play to them they must make some serious money off some pretty average player's. Anderson, Ferreria, Maniche, Boswinga, and Pepe that's over £100 million's worth of pure ****e.
Pretty glad we didn't get Stephen Warnock, he has been dire this season and Vila have now resorted to buying a LB from Shamrock Rovers.

It would for sure be around 24 million for Bent and if this went through, I know I wo uld start to get a little curious as to what the thinking is for getting him when for that money we can get more bang for the buck.
Exactly, i wouldn't mind Bent in the team but for £24m I would prefer another Saurez...one that could score maybe.

Chelsea will offer €35m for Sao Paulo midfielder Lucas Moura, according to reports from Brazil. Last week, the highly-rated youngster's agent, Wagner Ribiero, said: "I received three offers for my client from Chelsea, Inter and Liverpool."
Edit: They just spent like 10-15 mil I think on the other Lucas Pazini ( AM) from Sao paulo, both around the same age but Moura has a bit more about his game I think.

Well if Chelsea are known for anything, it's for spending money wrecklessly. Not sure Moura would go there though, but that doesn't rule out them attempting to spend on him.
I think Inter could land him him, probably more suitable to him and if Inter land tevez those are some quality purchases.
