I reckon that chelsea will buy modric, bale and van der fart this january... they will then follow up by buying lucas off his sick bed, carroll just because and will finish up playing frank lampard in a zimmer frame

 

Surely its more their owner's thing to buy old past-their-best strikers?

Please, in the name of all that is holy, don't buy Bent, unless it's for a straight swap with Carroll. Buying Bent would make Liverpool the laughing stock of the PL...even if he went and scored 10 goals in the second half. No imagination, no originality and no punch in the transfer market- with CL football, Liverpool can't challenge for top players, this much is obvious. Therefore it seems pretty obvious to me that we should be buying players (of any age) to boost us into the top 4, even if they are 30+. After that, we would be able to buy the highly talented, young players with high potential that currently we can't challenge for. Bent, however, is never the answer...
