Maybe but still it has not been denied (by evolution that is)? If not what is the problem, OK I may be a bit thick, but I cannot understand the continuous negativity towards a Guy that has done much more good than bad.

 

I can't slate his home form tbh, just his away form is a concern.

We have been playing a different style away from home, far too narrow for Guly to do what he is best at.

 

1 goal in 11 games tho and that was against coventry. At home he is a starter by miles, away from home he isn't.

 

What I also cannot understand is that despite the fact that we won today, we are 3 points clear at the top of the Championship, we pulled in another 31,500 crowd, we played decent football, we won despite another team coming here just to park the bus, hoping to get something on the break, we won with two good headed goals from a very talented player, and yet we get moaners on here picking holes in individuals, it makes no sense at all and this kind of person doesn't deserve the right to call themselves loyal supporters and should take time off to look at themselves and consider what they really want out of their Club, or have I got it completely wrong and am being too harsh?

The reason i have a problem with Guly is that he never seems to give 100% in any game i have been to. i Have missed 5 games and 1 cup game. Just look at the portsmouth goal last week. He does not even attempt to jump and head the ball. He turns his back as though he was scared of being hurt. as alan shearer said in the post match talking. If you are 6' 2" and 12 stone (as stated on the saints website) then you should not be scared to head it. He was on the post. no other player of this stature you should not be on the post at a corner.

I am mighty relieved that you are not racist ( I was just using that as an example and can see why people got the wrong impression) , I understand a little, that his one mistake last week was crucial, but one mistake doesn't make him a bad player, his mistake was to come off the line where he had been posted, but he saw that Ward had been left unmarked, someone else wasn't doing their job, and tried to make amends by getting to the ball first, but didn't make it, caught between two stools and made the wrong decision, hardly a hanging offence is it? If he is scared to head, how come he put his head in twice today where it hurts and scored two very good headed goals, your logic doesn't add up.

 

I couldn't care less about the other tosh you have posted but don't slate Guly because we didn't beat Portsmouth.

In the great scheme of things Portsmouth are an insignificant nothingness of a talentless, rotten to the core football club and very soon may no longer exist much to the great delight of everyone who loves football.

You must not use such a shoddy outfit as an excuse to destroy a great player.
