Listen - if a player scores frequently and sets up goals, links play then he is a good player and does his job for the team. If a forward runs around like a headless chicken but doesnt assist or score - would you prefer them in your team. I for one, and many others on here, would not. We prefer Guly. Debate over.
Guly to be fair to him didn't have a chance in the derby last week. He is a flair player and tried it last week but he was given the boot each time. However players like Lambert thrived as there was a lot of aeril and hold up play. Even lallana waded in and out of the game.
evolution clearly has some sort of grudge against guly and won't let things as ridiculous as facts change his mind, absolutely mind boggling
Rasiak knew where the net was, but otherwise did sweet **** all. You're absolutely right in saying that he actually was lazy. Guly has quite a laid-back style, which might give some people the impression that he's lazy, but he does do alot. Luckily there usually aren't any morons in my immediate vicinity who hurl abuse at players every time they make a mistake. There was one against Blackpool and it aint nice
I come on here every time and try and be positive, try and point out that we are doing well try not to pick on people but... by god there are some twats on this forum. Gets worse and worse. It's quite frankly embarrassing. Well done today Saints, you were excellent and well done Guly you won us the game. P.S. Merry Christmas.
You know, having searched Joey A, Joey B, Joey C etc, I am more convinced than ever that this user is either; A: some ****wit desperately trying to prove a point by supposedly recording the dynamics of human behaviour by baiting those he is supposed to be a part of, or B: is simply a colossal ****. All things considered, I vote B.
I'm guessing CBK was either talking about Joey or Evolution. Both of them seem to have unfounded grudges on certain players..

Just thought I would remind a few of you some of the more realistic offerings about Guly in another post about Guly a few days ago. Below is an offering by our very own St Godders. Maybe, just maybe some of his ideas may be on the right lines!! "At our boxing day game just watch Guly for about ten minutes and you will see a player who covers every inch of the pitch. Nigel will know from stats just how much ground he covers and his contribution to the game. I feel the same about him as I feel about Morgan in that neither are playing in their best position an yet are being expected to act as born naturals in the role they are being asked to play. "
