I hate that saying, like you have any idea about our budget for players. You'd have thought the amount we spent last summer would stop posts like this
I understand that you may wish to feel that LFC are back in the market for big signings, but you aren't really are you? The Torres money was wasted terribly, now that has gone, I don't see any more huge signings until Champions League Football returns, both in terms of the revenue generated, and therefore available, and the calibre of Player willing to join non-Champions League Clubs
Yeah let's just ignore Suarez and Enrique Adam and Henderson have been good signings for us Downing and Carroll I'll give you them
Would you like to explain why you don't think he's good enough for the higher reaches of the Premier league?
They had a bottomless pit of money. They bought well, by throwing utterly ridiculous amounts of money at Clubs, then having secured an agreement to talk to Players (and their Agents!) they just made them an offer they couldn't refuse. eg. To AVFC for James Milner £24M eg. Yaya Toure, £225,000 a year. LFC don't have those resources. Don't kid yourself that they do
Failed at Bayern, and returned to Koln because no-one else really wanted him. Lacks pace, is predictable, but clever enough to find space in the box of weak opponents. A Polish born David Healey
yet in the same thread we're ridiculed for spending £35m on Carroll, ""£20m"" on Henderson, £20m on Downing Inconsistent.
Not ridiculed by me Bozz. They were decent enough 'squad' signings, at the price range a decent enough squad Player costs in the Prem these days. If you are looking for inconsistency, look elsewhere
That is a lot more offensive than anything Suarez is alleged to have said to *vra. Those who live in glass houses, should not throw stones!
Yet he's a prolific goalscorer and has a great return not only for his club but country too. Proving he can do it domestically and internationally, perhaps indicating he wouldn't struggle in Europe either. Not all of the great strikers have pace, especially in the premier league where Strength is more prized. As to your point he can find space in a box of weak opponents; I think that's the type of player that we need - someone who will consistently score and convert chances against the "lesser" teams. All we need is a striker who can put away all of our chances, if we'd had one since the summer then those 17 post and bar hits would probably have resulted in goals, not to mention the countless chances we've failed to convert.
Same reason Suarez should not have 'allegedly' called @vra negrito, it may be deemed offensive! You certainly took offence to it, and now you act in a similar way....
Neither of them are going to get fined £40k + 8 match ban by the FA though are they? Some people need to learn how to take things on the chin, too many thin skinned people around nowadays.
Let's get one thing straight Bazza I'm not here to make friends - I couldn't give a flying **** what you think of me. The fact that you have to constantly bitch and moan about my views over the internet tells me you're pretty sad. I'd rather you put me on ignore, rather than cry like a bitch everytime I make a comment. Thanks, SKY
Proof that 'that' level of money is there. Which goes back to my point, that Drogba would be a good signing for LFC, because he would offer the quality, strength and pace and goal threat at the level you are operating at.
I don't cry and bitch at all, get your facts straight. I cried and bitched once when you said you will not be supporting Suarez. I was quite shocked by this, coming from a fellow fan, but once I read your reasoning i began to understand your viewpoint and thought it was very decent. So there, you stand corrected! Baz
