I used to sit one row down from Burnsie and the rest of the media lot. Most of the lower section was reserved for other media and less important guests. There were supporters in the top ten rows.
I can’t remember which season it was but the cameras for 3D were installed.
Best view of the game, worse place for atmosphere.

I sat 2 rows down from him pretty much directly in front for the years before allams closed the upper....great view

There should still be enough free seats to keep all moved members together.

Agreed, but the issue is where those new seats will be located, I’m sure there’ll be space in WU1 and WU11, but that’s a huge downgrade, as others have said WU6 has some of the best seats in the house.

I’d hope, and expect, the club will handle it better than when we were kicked out of E2 and moved to the North when they deliberately made it difficult to keep groups together because splitting people up was one of the reasons for the move.
Different time though and very different ownership so I’d hope you can get sorted and stay together .
They have Den! Managed to get 4 seats together in WU5 2 rows above our previous spot so think we got out of jail on that one :emoticon-0148-yes: I'm certain my mate will still find something to moan about but that's his usual state.

Chuffed for you mate. That’s great to hear, and is a clear sign the club is in better hands than the last ****s.

You might not recall but when they evicted us noisy troublesome buggers out of E2 they did it during the summer holidays and gave you only a few days notice and said you had to arrive together (no one could do it on anyone else’s behalf even if they had all their details) in person at the stadium and if you hadn’t done that within a few days you could **** off.
Of course we couldn’t, because guess what…some people were away on their holidays…so guess what…they stopped coming to City.

The last owners ( I’m lumping the late old guy and the son together) really were ****ing awful. I despise them

Cheers Den, and agree it's night and day on the owners

Just as a reminder, it was announced immediately after the fa cup final.
We were given a week or so to choose where we wanted to go.
Everyone was exhausted of the season long Allam protests, so perfect timing to ensure there was no proper protest.
If six people (in our case) wanted to move together, we all had to actually go the ticket office together to ensure we could sit together in new seats. That was regardless of anyone being on holiday,
I fully believe following the name change vote, the only reason for this and how it was managed was to piss off the most ‘militant’ section. Most of that section were diehards from the Boothferry Park ‘kops’. Sadly, it worked. Many just decided to stop going.
What an odd way to run a football club having just appeared in the fa cup final.

Ps I finished writing and editing this and couldn’t recall which thread it was under. Maybe should have been under grind my gears, because usually I’m a fairly laid back fellla, but I will never forget that ****housery.
