Not really sure why we still have zoos/animal exhibits. Crocodiles don't belong in the UK and should be living in their protected natural habitat undisturbed by humans. I understand it if it's for endangered species to try and breed them, but not sure why they need to be viewed in enclosures.

It’s because most people who say they love animals don’t.
If they did they wouldn’t lock them up or eat them.
They actually mean they love looking at them and love the taste of them.

The same situation as a few years ago when a mentally incapacitated man threw a child off the roof terrace at the Tate modern. He'd have been released from custody into care, because they wouldn't have the facilities to look after him at a police station.

The carers were 30ft away and busy looking at their phones. No doubt lessons will be learned, procedures put in place…And no one disciplined.

It was reported by witnesses. Funny, you have plenty of opinions on things you don’t have a lot of information on. Thought you would find a reason to argue and excuse their failure to control the mentally unstable person they were looking after.
