Just seen in Sainsburys Durham, my 1st barcode shirt in the flesh. A long -sleeved shirt too, which is even more of an eyesore!!
A drop or two of gravy may improve it.

There's definitely been a distinct lack of the Barcodes around mind for the past few weeks.. I've looked in all of the nooks and grannies, Gaps , pedestrian crossings and usual places but it seems they've disappeared completely underground.
Went through Ponteland Airport this morning and only saw one b/w strip- old version. Unfortunately for the wearer and their family there was a problem with the wearer’s passport. It looked like the wearer would have to miss the holiday. You couldn’t make it up!

Seen a few people wearing them around Washington! They are hideous!!! On the other hand, I popped down to the club shop earlier today to look at the new trading gear and it looks very nice. Could have spent a small fortune!
Sorry for the length of this post but I think it's worth it.
While I was waiting for the Scotland game to start I was looking through the various Mag blogs to see how they were handling players turning them down, Tonali wanting out, World Cup and the fixtures, etc.
They almost all avoided mentioning Sunderland, as they've done since the derbies, but discussed the teams either side of us in the table. With one of them, the ‘Geordie Journos’, they were talking about Munoz and how unjust it was that Liverpool had 'hijacked' their signing. Then they started debating which players they could expect to sign and what price bracket they'd be looking at.
They decided it would be around the £30m range and similar players to Munoz. Then they discussed which clubs were in that market and which had the necessary pulling power to attract them which might be greater than Newcastle's. Then one of them waffled on through the usual suspects of Spurs, Brighton, Villa, etc until ....

I was desperate to get a pic as the long sleeves looked as if they been put together in patches. The back is just a huge white square with a tiny magpie at the top. Its a joke.
So apparently Munoz picking up an injury is Karma for him deciding to move to a bigger and better club than them. Embarrassing..
