Scoreline flattering Croatia. This is the most I've enjoyed watching England for years. Second half we've actually seen them turn it up like a Premier League team would.

Could have been 6 easy. Thought they were poor defensively and alright if not a bit pedestrian going forward first half. Completely different second half and without the Croatian keeper pulling off a few good saves would have been out of sight in first 15 mimutes of second half!

Well that was a game of two contrasting halves.
22 shot and 11 on target for England and when you think O'Reilly should have scored and Bellingham was unlucky in the first half it could easily have been 6 or 7. Croatia are a good team, ageing a bit but still a decent side that you'd not bet against getting to the quarter finals, so that second half performance was impressive. Need to tighten up at the back though, the first goal is a top class finish but he shouldn't have been allowed to get the shot away. The second we just switched off before half time so very poor.
Overall if france were impressive in the second half last night England were at least as impressive second half and against a better side, in my opinion.
might sound daft but that second half we started playing like an english club and it was damn good.
croatia are a very good team mind, have always liked them simply because they play football and usually without the fake fouls etc plus this was probably the hardest pairing of the first round, just hope the lads do not get complacent and feel the next two will be easier.
...and lastly, take a long bow harry kane, did everything we could have asked with some top defending when needed and was always the first one to show when we broke...o'rielly the best defender imho, gordon was a waste and i think james and stones can be improved on.
if the team missed anything it was a 'granit' in the middle, someone capable of finding that space and being the 'on pass' but not going to complain too much.

Looking good for England, lots of attacking threat. Tuchel seems to be getting the most out of them and I can't remember the last coach who could do that. Playing as a team and everyone replicating club form.
