I saw the musical about him once. Was good even as someone who didn’t grow up with or particularly love the music. Lots of middle class dads swaying along.
I think everyone in life has prejudices.
Racist English, glad I got away from the place.
Those are the words of people who moved for the sun and cheaper life abroad, they lived in, wait for it.... gated communities, where the only brown face they would see is their on-site doctor but it's fine.
Then there are the people who move from our Cities for a better life, and go to places where multicultralism is virtually non existant, places that are 96.8% white - that's ok, that's perfectly fine to.
Let's not mention the tones of glee from some people when the massacre of 7th Oct happened, although they didn't stop to think for one minute of the human consequences, the after effects of such actions.
If I'm to blame for any wars that have happened under the Labour government, then I put my hands up because I voted for Labour at the last General Election - That's the only participation I've taken in any war, voting for the party in power.
Then there is microaggression (ORE), mentioning no names...
